Weʼve raised £1,320 to Help fund for a pair of running blades. I am a double below knee amputee from birth.

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

I'm a double below knee amputee from birth and i am trying to raise funds to help get running blades. I have been trying to get active for a long time on the legs i have at the moment but these are holding me back when it comes to running. I have recently started with a personal trainer to help me and have attempted a 5k run, completed in 48 mins.

I have booked a place for Bristol 5k tough mudder on the 19th may. My aim is to get my fitness to a point i can take part in more runs to help fund raise for other charities and to help motivate other people into believing they can do more and be more active even with disabilities

Any money over the full amount will go to the charity COPS (care of police survivors) This is a charity i believe massively in. having friends and family who serve in the Police i know the struggles they can go through.

Completed the first challenge, an inflatable 5K (21st April). This was super hard to do as the ground was super uneven and on the hilly side. I completed all the obstacles, even being allowed to do both the last ones (only supposed to do one of the last) Thank you all for the support so far but please keep shearing.
