Story

Patrizia and I are both very hard working chefs, we’ve put everything we have into our little restaurant and are committed to making it a success. We have been trading now for just over a year and have achieved a lot in that time, we’ve even made it into The Waitrose Good Food Guide with a cooking score of 2! We have turned over in excess of 80k and have minimal debts.

We would love to be able to update our tired and energy inefficent old kitchen and heating system, spruce up the interior, redo our website, finally get our signage complete and add to our working capital.

unfortunatly due to our business being relatively new we are unable to borrow from any high street lender, this is due to improve as soon as our accounts are posted, but in the meantime it appears that conventional borrowing is just outside our grasp.

we own all of the business inventory and our running costs are tightly controlled, we make a reasonable margin on our products but would really love to move everything to the next level. We have applied for grant funding in the past, with the intention to provide “free to all at point of delivery” cookery classes only to discover that is very much a closed shop, we would love to be able to share our skills and knowledge but again it would require investment in improving our equipment & providing the materials and resources to do this.

if we can meet our target this really would give our business a welcome boost, enable us to take on a permanent member of staff, improve our offering and really take everything to the next level.

thank you for taking the time to read all this, assuring you of our best efforts and intentions, we hope that you can help our little family business become a success.
