This is a photo of my dear friend Lulu and her beautiful family. 👪 We first met in 2012 when we were living in Madrid and her little son Enzo had just been born. Despite having recently given birth, she and Ezequiel welcomed me in their home while I was looking for a place to rent and made me feel like it was my second home. I was taken back by this lady; a beautiful and hardworking lawyer, a strong mother and on top of that she treated me with the upmost kindness and I instantly gained a new friend.💗

Lulu has since moved back to Paraguay 🇵🇾 and 2 years ago, like the warrior she is, battled through stage 4 lung cancer with bone metastases. She was thankfully in remission, until recently when during a routine check, the doctors found a metastatic tumor in her brain. This requires a special laser surgery treatment that is not offered in Paraguay and so she must travel to Brazil, where the cost of the treatment is 15,000 USD (£11,300).

When Lulu told me this news I felt like the world stopped for a few minutes. I felt so angry and helpless that this amazing woman is having to fight this disgusting disease yet again at just 37 years of age. Then faith and hope started to kick in and I decided I wanted to do anything I could (despite the distance!) to help my friend, just as she helped me! 🙌🏼🙏🏼💪🏼

So I decided to raise some money for Lulu through doing a crazy 7,500 feet SKYDIVE 😅 on Friday 24th August in England. All the money I raise will help Lulu to cover her medical costs in Brazil and to help her family to get back on their feet again after her treatment. 👍🏼
