We (Me and Archie Dench) are going to go to Ghana in July-August 2017 to do volunteer football coaching. We are doing this so that we can help children of all ages within Accra, the capital of Ghana. Ghana isn't the richest of countries and 31% of the population of Ghana is below the poverty line. However, Ghana is sports mad and the majority of the population will play football as much as possible. We want to go out for six weeks and use our coaching skills to help improve them both as footballers and people and to give them as much western knowledge as possible as well as helping other sports coaches and teachers in the capital. Although it will be challenging, it will be well worth it as it will help us learn exactly how life is like in western Africa.

By donating, you will be helping to pay for the trip (£1300 each + Flights, Insurance & Vaccinations), you will be helping us to help people of all ages that live in a country that needs as much help as possible. You will also be giving us a fantastic life experience that should help us become better people in the future. Whilst we are in Ghana, we are planning to lead football sessions for schools and for teams within Accra. We will also be living life as most Ghanaians live their's and travelling all over the country to meet different people and cultures. We will also be visiting schools and helping out wherever possible and teaching them ideas and methods that we use on a day to day basis in England.
