Story

Tom has one big dream, to compete for Team GB in Taekwondo Poomsae.

The next big step towards this is to compete in the National Championships in London in December. He has worked so hard to get to this point.

Since we lost his Daddy in 2015, Taekwondo has been such a positive force in his life. He has gained in confidence and developed wonderful relationships with his Master and the other club members. His Taekwondo means everything to him and as his Mummy, I want to give him every opportunity to realise his dream.

Any money raised would help us with the competition fee, the train tickets from Yorkshire, a room for the weekend, food while he is there and for a new uniform that conforms to competition standards.

We would be so grateful for any help towards making this happen for Tom.

His Journey So Far

Tom started Taekwondo only 20 months ago. Since then it has been his favourite thing and it is his ambition to go as far as he can and one day be in Team GB.

Yellow belt in April 2017

100% in his Green Tag grading in later 2017

Tom's first Kyriogi fighting competition. Tom in the red.

Green Belt

Looking so grown up in his Blue Tag belt. So serious.

Working hard in Grand Master Kang's Poomsae Seminar.

Blue Belt Grading 100% again this July. He's now inspired his older brother to take up Taekwondo too.

Tom took part in his first Poomsae competition. It was the first international open championships in Manchester. He did really well with tough competition and came 5th. Good for a first outing. Here are some pictures of the action.

We've a few warm-up competitions in the next few months. London here we come!

Attending Master Ali’s Poomsae Seminar in Leeds.

All sorted and ready to go. London here we come.

Tom came 5th in the National Championships and Isaac came 8th. Well done for such an amazing result. Thank you everyone who helped to make this happen.
