Story
WOW !! what a reaction we have had today. This has been the catalyst for us asking for your help. We wanted to make and donate as many meals as we could with the stock on hand in our Kitchen.
The panic buying in supermarkets has been a factor in this gesture. Images of bare shelves and stories of our most vulnerable not having what they need to survive these times has struck a cord with most of us.
At Tom Browns Restaurant we have a commercial kitchen, and a team of talented chefs that can really make a difference, in this time of crisis. With a surplus of fresh produce it just made sense. The one -pot idea isn't our usual fine dining, but it is a wholesome, nutritious meal and #made with love
Help us to to look after each other in these unprecedented times
All meals will be free of charge, and we rely on the help of others to distribute these meals to right people BUT in order for us to make this happen we need help from YOU!
We can produce one meal for Approx. £2, So if you donate £10, that's 5 Meals!! for the most vulnerable in our community.
If you are in a financial position to donate and fund this project, that would be just amazing and it is really is making a difference. After delivering over 100 meals today, we have personally seen how important this is to our community, People isolated due to illness or government advice, its scary times and has made an instant impact on us to do more.
We aim to produce as many meals as possible, for as long as we can please help.
We welcome suggestions of groups set up to deal with the distribution of our meals in different villages and towns. We are currently being overwhelmed with requests for deliveries in all local areas. If you are a coordinator please get in touch
If our kitchen is overwhelmed with YOUR BACKING we have other Industry friends that will happily support this project .

4 years agoWOW!!! We hit 50% of our crowd fund target (£5,000). We are SO grateful for your all the support and donations! This means we will be able to produce around 2500 meals, unless we can raise some more funds? (please share Our just giving link) So far we have made over 750 meals. Its been really inspiring how many have volunteered to collect and deliver, a real community spirit! Thanks for our wonderful staff who have volunteered to help! We will try our best to cater for the vulnerable, for as long as we can. Tom Browns Team X
