I'm raising £1,000 to boost an appeal set up by Jack Carpenter.
Jack was diagnosed last year with multiple tumours on his brain.
I met Jack about 17 years ago when we were both members of Spalding Triathlon Club, and trained for
and competed in several triathlons together.
In Recent years Jack has trained to be a successful competitor in obstacle course races, and until his diagnosis has been earning a living as a coach and personal trainer.

On Sunday 3rd August I will ride from London to Edinburgh and back to London on my Bicycle, a distance of 956 miles.
I will be joined by around 2000 other cyclists taking part in 'London Edinburgh London' (LEL) which a classic long distance ride which is organised every four years by Audax Uk ( the association of long distance cyclists)
