TOM JONES TRIBUTE - JOHN PRESCOTT RAISING MONEY FOR HOSPITAL.

I suffered heart failure 3 years ago on 12th February 2015. I was resuscitated 18 times. During September last year I had 2 weeks to live due to organs starting to fail and fluid on my lungs preventing me from breathing. My only chance of survival was having an L-Vad pump fitted to my heart and battery packs to run the machine. After battling with the Welsh NHS to fund the operation and with help from ITV News and the Doctor I was fitted with the machine. Wythenshaw Hospital Cardiac unit saved my life. They are trying to extend the wing at the Cardiology Department and Jim Quick Ward.

Heart Failure is becoming too much of an issue these days with the patients becoming younger and more frequent. It could be your Mother, Daughter, Son, Father , Sister or Brother and I aim to do all I can to help raise toward the cost of creating the new wing for every ones benefit. I am currently on a heart transplant waiting list, if successful I may then be able to return to my work as the International Tribute Artist for Tom Jones. Until then I would like to take this opportunity to raise money for this great Cause.I have performed on many charity shows over the years to help various causes and as I am not able to perform on stage at this moment in time I would like to spend this time to help this cause whether I receive a heart transplant or not.

I would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Wythenshaw, Broad Green, Glan Clwyd and Bangor along with all my music friends, fellow tribute artists and my family for helping me out in my hours of need.

Without them I would not be alive today.
