Story
I am travelling to Uganda to support a local school. We will be taking the kids to do outdoor activities, as they have very little equipment and resources to take the children out of the village. I am travelling 20th October for 1 week.
I will be going with 10 friends from the UK and would appreciate any support you are willing to give. We have funded a projector and screen for the school and will be taking as many documentaries and films to give the kids a greater perspective on the outside world, as very few have left their region and many have never travelled within Uganda.
Any donations will be put towards sports equipment and improving the schools facilities.
We massively appreciate your generosity and will be sure to provide pictures of where were going and how the money will be used to support the children.

7 years agoHello all, thank you so much for all the donations. I am amazed by your generosity, surpassing my target. Due to weight restrictions I have decided to split the money. I will donate half of my total straight to the school, but will be sure to get an update on what it will be spent on. I will use the other half to buy some fun things, I'm planning on taking some colouring books and crayons for the young children, some footballs and sports kit for the older children.
