I've raised £500 to help Wills Rios. He has just turned 10 and has Duchenne muscular dystrophy & has just lost the ability to walk & needs a bedroom downstairs.

If you don't know me i am a 19.5 stone retired rugby player who took up cycling as a more gentle sport.
Since taking up cycling I have (so far!) torn some tendons in my shoulder and broken my collar bone! So i think i am ready for a challenge!
On Sunday 13th June I am going to cycle (off road as much as possible) from Haslemere to Ilfracombe in Devon via Salisbury, Bridgwater & Glastonbury, which is just over 215 miles over 4 days.
The route I have chosen has been described as "Difficult" and for an "Expert gravel rider with very good fitness" with approximately 13,300 feet of climbing it's not going to be easy.
I am going to have a tracker with me so if your interested you can follow me along my route. Below is a link to my route if your interested, as you will see i have not taken a direct route but have gone via some places or tracks that might be interesting to cycle.

Warm up Ride
I am also going to be doing a warm up cycle on the Sunday 6th June from Haslemere to Gunwharf Quays along the shipwrights way about 42 miles with 1525ft of climbing - if you would like to join me please let me know - a donation will be expected!
