    Story

    Two years ago we tragically lost one of our closest friends due to him taking his own life. His mum set up a charity to carry on his legacy. We are looking to raise £1000 for the trust so that the charity can become registered, we would greatly appreciate any donations.

    In order to hit this target we will be a mentally physical challenge will be jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft, this sky dive includes a 60 second free fall reaching speeds of 130mph. The date of the Skydive is 11th November. This will be taking place at GoSkydive in Sailsbury (all visitors welcome), any donation is very appreciated and all is for a great cause.

    There will also be a physical challenge which will be a 10 mile long Tough Mudder which will take place early in 2018 as there is no available dates coming up soon. More information on this will be provided nearer the time.

    About the charity;

    Who are we?

    The Damian Thomas Musical Trust has been set up in memory of Damian who took his life in 2015. Damian had a passion for music and would spend hours at his keyboard playing, writing and learning. He was a self taught genius at the keyboard and everything else he applied himself to.

    What's the aim?

    The aim of the Charity is to help families provide instruments, whether rented or bought, to give their children the wonderful opportunity to learn to play, who would otherwise not be able to. The Charity will consider all musical requests from music books, help with lessons, help with instruments or even help to find a suitable club they may wish to join. We hope to work with schools and local musical organisations to provide this help.

    Why?

    Music is an emotion and a form of art, It is often the only release that a young person may have or feel that have in their lives, it gives them a sense of calm an opportunity to express their feelings, passion and natural ability.
