Story

On 7th September I will be riding the “Ventoux3”, a charity cycling event that takes place on one of the hardest and most iconic climbs in cycling: Mont Ventoux. My cousin (the Ventoux3 veteran Max Laboyrie) and I aim to climb it not once but four times which will mean 180km cycled and 6,000m climbed, all in one day!
This is all in aid of Hersentumorfonds (Brain Tumour Fund), a Dutch charity aiming to find a cure for primary brain tumours, which thousands of people are diagnosed with each year. In the 7 years since its inception, the charity has raised over 1.5million euros that has gone towards brain tumour research.
As I want 100% of donations to go twards Hersentumorfonds, once everything is totalled I will add an additional 5% of my own money to the total to make up for the fee to Justgiving.
For the story behind it (you will have to use Google Translate from Dutch to English): http://ventoux3.org/historie-ventoux3-sporten-tegen-hersentumoren-geld-voor-onderzoek
Many thanks,
