Blood Bike 4 Pets (www.bloodbikes4pets.org) aims to become the UK's first uniformed fast response motorcycle team dedicated to delivering life-saving blood to veterinary surgeries. Based on a not-for-profit charitable basis.

In a world filled with tales of courage and determination, Tom Watkins is a name that shines brightly. Tom is not just a pet lover; he's a true champion for our furry friends. With a heartfelt mission in mind, Tom and his team were the leading authorities responsible for investigating lost and stolen pets across the UK. They worked tirelessly, reuniting countless families with their beloved companions, leaving imprints of joy and gratitude in their wake.

Medical Catastrophe

Then In an unexplained and heartbreaking episode, a few years ago Tom lost his voice overnight. His ability to conduct investigations was suddenly curtailed, and the company he had built, his livelihood, seemed to slip away. For many, this might have been the end of the road, but Tom's spirit remained unbroken. He vowed to return with another exciting pet welfare initiative.

Tom's Inspirational Fight Back

With unwavering determination, Tom fought back. Though he was still without his normal voice, he refused to surrender to silence. Instead, he sought a different path to make a significant impact in the lives of pets and their families. Thus, the vision of Blood Bikes 4 Pets was born.

The core of this initiative is to provide a rapid and reliable blood delivery service for our beloved pets. These motorcycles will speedily transport blood to veterinary surgeries, ensuring that our furry friends receive the blood they need. Ultimately, with your help the deliveries will be free of charge for owners. Allowing them to spend the vital funds on the care of their pet.

Tom Had the emergency type stickers put on the Honda by PVL UK at his own cost - £500

It shouldn't be overlooked that Tom and his team have use of a motorcycle that is pictured. This is a Honda Africa Twin and is all thanks to Honda Motorcycles who heard about Tom's mission and loaned the machine to the organisation for a year free of charge. Running costs and purchase of the bike at the end of that period, will be significant so every penny really does count.

One of Tom's highest priorities is safety. An eyewatering cost but worth every penny for our volunteer riders says Tom. All volunteer riders will wear potentially life saving state of the art Helite air vests that inflate in the event of a collision. Altberg top quality boots, leathers and high grade helmets. Before undergoing rigorous advanced rider training. Those items will cost approx. £1,750 per rider
