I've raised £5000 to Meet medical bill for Eight-year old Michelle Awuor from Kisumu Kenya, who needs surgery on her face and neck after a fire accident.

Michelle Awuor is an eight year old girl who lives with his father in Kisumu Kenya. She does not go to school and is confined in her tiny room due to horrific injuries she suffered as a result of a fire accident in September 2015.
She has been confined to her family’s single room house in Kisumu for two years. She has been unable to close her eyes, not even at night when she is sleeping, due to the scar tissue on her face and neck. She cannot even turn her head around.
Michelle Story: daily nation 07.09.2017 Michelle was a former pupil at Ombujo Primary School in Homa Bay County. She fell face-wards on fire on 21 September 2015, while playing with her friends at home.
Her father, Japheth Otondi, who was home at the time of the accident rushed her to hospital where she received emergency treatment. She had suffered 55 per cent burns on her face and neck.
The doctors working with Michelle say that the muscles in Michelle’s face had over-stretched in the fire incident. As a result, she cannot close her eyes and turn around her head. To correct this, She was referred to Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi for surgery, a procedure that costs a minimum KSh400,000.
Michelle’s dad Mr Otondi, who works as a casual labourer, cannot raise this amount of money. Michelle’s hope is fading away fast and she spends every day staring blankly at the unfolding of her very uncertain future. Michelle was forced to drop out of school in February, because she could not stay in bright light.
