Story
We met Esther and Will along with their young son Caleb in 2015 when we moved next door to them the day after they had also moved in. Shortly after Esther discovered she was battling an aggressive stage 4 breast cancer.
Esther was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 26 in early 2016.
Her rare form of cancer puts her in a situation where conventional medicine cannot help her any further. She is pursuing alternate treatment at the Immunity Therapy Center near San Diego where she will start receiving the intensive, targeted treatments her body is needing now more than ever. These treatments will strengthen her immune system as well as help it to recognize the cancerous cells in order to overcome them. Read more abour Esther and her situation st the link below. https://www.gofundme.com/helpestherconquercancer.
It has unfortunately not been plain sailing for Esther who has only recently come off of life support after contracting sepsis and pneumonia while having treatment. As this treatment is happening in America the medical bill is mounting and they currently need to raise around $130000
Tom is running the Frome half marathon on 15th July and would love your support to help raise funds to enable Esther to carry on with her treatment and allow her to carry on living a long and full life with her young family.
