I've raised £500 to for Daughters of Eve by completing a full distance IRONMAN

An IRONMAN Triathlon is one of the most grueling challenges someone can put themselves through. It consists of a 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bicycle ride and a marathon 26.22-mile (42.20 km) run, raced in that order and without a break.
Completing an IRONMAN requires a true test of endurance, resilience and mental fortitude. I have a passion for endurance events, undertaking an ultra-marathon last year with my dad in New Zealand. This event taught me more about myself than I ever could’ve anticipated and has inspired me to find the next big challenge.
Since Nimko Ali came and spoke to us at Edelman, I have been wondering how I can help support her brilliant charity Daughters of Eve that are dedicated to ending violence against women and girls, particularly female genital mutilation. This is awkward for people to speak about but is such a serious problem happening all over the world and not just in the 3rd world countries you would expect. It is estimated that 23,000 young women are affected in the UK each year alone. I have 2 younger sisters and the thought of them coming to harm is incomprehensible.
Please help me raise money for this small but mighty charity by giving whatever you can!
Thanks so much and wish me luck!
