I have a Russian friend who once studied in the UK but is now forced to remain in Russia. She is a talented chemist but does not even have enough money to visit the UK. I have never seen such a hardworking person in my life, and I am trying to help her. I am a current UCL student and an international student myself, which limits my ability to support her financially. I live on supermarket meals and sleep on the university campus so as not to waste this precious educational opportunity, which she would have wanted more than anybody. If I successfully raise £2,500, I will give it to her to cover her A-level exam fees and flight costs. I believe she will never waste this opportunity, as she never has. Of course, I am also contributing by saving my salary from a part-time job.

Therefore, I beg you to help us. We are still powerless teenagers, but we want to contribute to society from the bottom of our hearts.
