Story

Sam and I are currently in training for Ironman Staffordshire 70.3. We've stupidly decided that the 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile ride and 13.1 mile run is a good idea and have made big lifestyle changes in the last year in an attempt to get to the finish line on the 10th June. It would be great if our acheivement could raise some money to help Gemma and Dale look after Archie.

Pompe disease causes glycogen to build up in his muscles causing permanent damage, due to this he is unable to breathe without a ventilator and cannot move his body unaided.

Due to the amazing facilities and hospital care Archie can lead a full and happy life with his mum Gemma and dad Dale. Sadly, the future is unknown for Archie and every day is a gift, he and his family continue to make memories together and through fundraising can take him on amazing holidays to places such as Disney and can purchase him lifechanging equipment.

Currently Archies family are trying to raise the funds to get him a power wheelchair which he may be able to learn to drive himself using bespoke switches made by his school.

Every penny you donate will go towards making Archies life as fantstic as possible.

Thank you.
