I've raised £1500 to help fund my place on an international exchange to help improve education practices in rural Rwanda for 30 days in July/August this summer

As many of you know, I have a passion for travelling the world, seeing new places and experiencing new cultures. However, every so often I’m reminded that not everyone has the same opportunities as me, not only here in the UK but also further afield. I have been fortunate enough to have had incredible experiences of volunteering abroad previously in Romania, Brazil and Malawi. Whilst I made a difference when I was there, sadly, there is no legacy and therefore, no lasting effect to the efforts I made to improve the lives of young people in these places.
Participating in the Global Learning Partnerships allows me to have input in the classroom with the young people but also gives me the opportunity to work with and help develop teachers and education practices in Rwanda - helping to make a real lasting effort, I hope!
Thanks very much for reading this - and thank you in advance for your support!
