I've raised £2000 to support various cancer related organisations who have assisted or will assist Mitch and our family throughout his cancer journey.

As many will know who know me, my son Mitch was diagnosed with a Medulloblastoma on 3rd January 2017. This is an aggressive form of brain cancer and it was at a stage 3.5, which is about as bad as it gets. After an operation, 6 weeks of radiotherapy and 4 months of chemotherapy Mitch finished his available treatment on 3rd August and came home. 7 months exactly from D- Day. The Christie in Manchester, The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Cancer Research UK and Ronald McDonald House were all instrumental in getting Mitch and my family to this point. Our community, friends, colleagues, family and people totally unknown to us have helped to raise funds, so it is now my turn. I'm doing the Coast to Coast cycle ride on the August long weekend. I am not a cyclist. I bought a bike 5 months ago and looked at it. I decided to go for a ride on it this week, so feel I am ready for the 140 mile challenge. If Mitch can go through what he has, I can do the C2C. Please sponsor me so my pain isn't in vain, and so that we can stop this happening to others, and for those who do unfortunately suffer from Cancer, the help available continues as it did for us. Thanks in advance. Tony
