Well the weather could have been drier but we all completed the walk. In fact it was really enjoyable. Thank you so much for your support. I am delighted to say that I raised a total of £1263.11 and have collected it all except for the JustGiving payment which takes 10 days to come through. I'm told the groundworks are underway and the 2 radiotherapy units should be operational within 2 years - at a cost of almost £3 million - all paid for by voluntary donation. I only launched this 3 hours ago and I'm already up to £605, so £1000 (after the 25% tax rebate) is looking very achievable. Keep the money rolling in, please., It's a facility any of us and our families may have to take advantage of.
