In a heartfelt journey to support those in need, Tony Peters is on an inspiring mission to walk around the entire Ascension Island on Saturday, 13th September 2025.

Tony’s remarkable effort aims to raise funds for the St. Helena Cancer Support charity and provide 'gifts of appreciation from the community' for the nurses at the General Hospital in both St. Helena and Ascension Island.

Starting from Long Beach, Georgetown at 8:00 am, this journey will take them through breathtaking landscapes and challenging terrains. The route includes ascending past Cross Hill to One Boat, enjoying the serene English Bay Beach before returning to Two Boats Club and continuing towards North East Bay at Arianne Station. The trek will lead them up to Green Mountain, down through Travellers Hill, and up to Devils Ashpit, an ex-NASA site. Finally, they will navigate back under Command Hill towards Air Head and through the US Base before concluding their journey back at Long Beach.

This ambitious endeavor is not just a personal challenge; it is a call for compassion and support for those battling cancer in our community.
