Story
As we approach the first anniversary of Tony’s passing, we, at the Heritage Centre, thought that this would be an appropriate time to follow up on an idea to buy a seat in his memory.

Some of you will know Tony as a farmer, some as a school governor, some as a historian, some as chair of the Heritage Centre, but all will know him as a man who cared about the people of Langwith and a true community activist. Let’s show him we cared about him too.
We would like to place a bench close to the Heritage Centre, near the Coal Tub. The cost will be around £500. We will then need to have it professionally sited. We hope you feel able like to contribute to this fund. And please, pass the link to everyone else who knew him.

Once we have the funds in place and gatherings are allowed, we hope to host an event to unveil the bench and celebrate the life of Tony in the Village.
Thank you. Kath Sharpe.
