I've raised £2000 to Tony Calder's Funeral - Monday 22nd January 2018.

The epic realm of Rock and Roll has chosen another for immortality- Tony Calder - loveable rogue from 1943 to 2018 who worked with the likes of the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood MAC, Black Sabbath and Eddy Grant, he was as they say a ‘proper’ music manager.
Like many of his peers Tony lived life for today, and never thought about tomorrow. Like a lot of people in the entertainment industry he lived by the proverbial Rock and Roll sword (and died by it) thus he left life with baggage and nothing to pay for it. He had a great heart that touched many people, which is what the great music he created is about: Heart.
He dearly loved these people in brash fashion. He had no regrets, but he did have one wish - everyone could get together to speak about his myth one last time.
His family are grateful for all the amazing press and stories and messages from friends and family all over the world over the last week.
Many who were close to Tony in his final years knew, he was suffering from dementia and as of this lost the ability to stay in contact with his big circle of friends via his two favourite ways of keeping in touch: emailing late into the early hours and his mobile phone calls - especially leaving a voicemail to let you know he hadn't only just called but he was calling!
In the last few years TC withdrew from daily day to day life, as he found it more difficult to walk and financially couldn't afford the care he needed to stay independent - let alone plan his funeral or save for one, although we commend the support he received daily from social services in Kensington and the Chelsea and Westminster hospital. Which is the reason for setting up this page. Any surplus funds raised will go towards Chelsea and Westminster hospital Charity Foundation who looked after him excellently for the past ten years.
