Story

Tony has been involved with the incredible charity Back on Track since meeting them in September 2019 and was honored to be asked to be their mascot. The charity supports our injured servicemen & women get their lives back on track, including Tony's buddy and hero, Mark Allen, who lost both his legs in Afghanistan at the age of 19. Mark proves to Tony everyday that you can still achieve anything you want to.

Yesterday the charity gifted Tony his very own specially adapted Kart as was seen live on GMB 26th May so that he can lead his team out onto the track on June 19th at Daytona Sandown Park. It was simply a dream come true for him.

Tony wants to win so please help them to be in pole position for the race by raising the most pennies.

Words from Back on Track. "Small, but Mighty…those are the words we use to describe Back on Track. However, this sentiment applies equally to young Tony Hudgell, our Mascot…who at 6 years old is clearly not a Veteran…but who has overcome huge adversity in his short life, winning hearts and awards along the way.

He has made firm friends with many of our injured veterans and was there supporting them in September 2019 at our last Karting with Heroes race and was as disappointed as we all were when the 2020 Race had to be cancelled, so to make it up to everyone and to inject some fun back into life, we have a new, special event, Karting with Heroes – Small but Mighty – planned for 19th June 2021."
