Tony's Toys is now reaching it's fifth year. Following the sudden death of my husband in 2013 it was important for my children, family and friends to do something positive in his memory.

Women's Aid and many other organisations offer shelter to families in crisis but are not permitted to spend their funds on non-essential items.

The Christmas Gifts are intended for the children in sheltered accommodation and emergency care that are hidden out of the public eye for their own or a parents protection.

We fundraise and purchase the toys most needed. This could include large items for a shared garden, indoor toys or popular electronic learning toys..

The majority of the money is spent at TOYS R US on a weekend filled with offers!

We rely on donations of aftershave, perfumes, toiletries and make up for the TEENS if required.

All the toys are carefully wrapped and labelled with age groups / gift id so the charity can distribute them to their most appropriate shelter.

I am in continuous contact with the charity throughout the year and any gifts left over are saved for birthdays or children that arrive in crisis with no toys at all!

Nothing is wasted.
