Story

1.8 billion people on our planet do not own a toothbrush. This is such a simple item in our bathrooms at home, that many of us pay no notice to. Many children around the world do not own a toothbrush and the rate of dental decay is on the rise. Through the consumption of sugars and not brushing, decay can develop leading to severe pain and dental abscesses. To combat this issue, I am hoping to collect toothbrushes and paste from the UK and ship them abroad to developing countries.

I have made direct contact with various schools and orphanages in the following countries: Ethiopia, Gambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Once I have raised funds, I shall purchase the items and ship the toothbrushes out.

I am also scheduled to go into local schools to raise awareness and fundraise for toothbrushes and paste.

If you would like to get involved feel free to donate either money or toothbrushes/paste. Thank you.
