Ernie's book was recognised by a Scottish Parliamentary Motion recently for its promotion of sport to young people. It's a diarised account of his season with Montrose Youth 2013s, a warts and all story of grass roots football!

Montrose Youth gives kids the opportunity to develop their footballing skills whilst having fun with their friends. They train during the week at Links Park and play matches at weekends in the Dundee & District League. The exercise keeps them fit, the football keeps them focused and the friendships keep them happy!

The club is run by volunteers and fundraising is always a challenge....soooo....Ernie published a book to raise funds. It’s a light hearted read, a hurtle through a season in the life of the club.
