Hi all !

I am a single mother with a 3 year old and have identified there is a great need for sensory soft play in the Ferndown area. I have grown up and lived in Ferndown all my life and am very much looking forward to starting this new project and returning to work.

I am going to open a Sensory Soft in play in Ferndown which will :

- Be inclusive of all children regardless of ability and up to the age of 9.

- Promote a diverse approach to learning.

- Remove barriers at an early age reducing discrimination.

- Promote healthy eating and drinking.

- Encourage minority groups to combat social exclusion.

Tori's Tigers will be inclusive for all children in the Ferndown area. In our community we need a safe place to play and learn for children on a regular basis and locally, for early interaction and socialisation of children and parents/guardians. My business will be inclusive to all children regardless of ability as i want to reduce barriers at an early age regarding discrimination for disability, race, gender and many other barriers that can exist from an early age.

I will promote a diverse approach to learning through interactive, educational, fun and sensory play. The aim is to promote relationships between children, parents and other children and support each other while in a safe environment. I am going to introduce groups, such as breastfeeding to reduce stigma and enable new mums to feel comfortable and at ease, while with other mums who can support and encourage their journey.

Children with all abilities love sensory play so I know this is a great idea to build up in our community and make it work in Ferndown. I am currently trying to raise money for a giant bubble tube that changes colours for different moods, this benefits children's visual, emotional and sensory abilities.
