Story
We would like to continue to be able to take part in the Shakespeare Schools' Festival, which allows students of all abilities, ages and backgrounds to connect with Shakespeare's great plays. Each year, our students have found a love for his language and confidence they never knew they had, by taking part and producing their own performance, as part of a creative ensemble.
As school budgets are stretched ever further, opportunities such of this have had to be cut. Unless we can raise the money ourselves, some students would never even visit a theatre, let alone perform on stage - and for some, it's life-changing, as theatre allows you to escape your limitations.
Your donation could help give a student two workshops with professional Shakespeare actors, the chance to be part of something magical, and the buzz of their moment in the lime-light performing to a public audience of over 1000 spectators.
