Story

10 members of Skipton RFC, Luke's local rugby team, will be undertaking a 15km Tough Mudder this summer to help raise funds for some Hero Arms for Luke.

The prosthetic arms offered by the NHS will not give Luke the dexterity he needs for everyday tasks. As Luke is still only ten years old, and will not stop growing until he reaches twenty one, we will need to buy a pair of arms at least once every couple years for the next twelve years. At an average cost of £13,000 per arm we are looking at a substantial amount of money.

Unfortunately, at the present time, the NHS do not offer any money towards the cost.

We appreciate that money is tight for many at the moment so we would be hugely grateful for any support you can give. Thank you in advance for your support.
