Building on the success of the Christmas raffle, the next BUK HR Citizenship initiative is in support of the First Love Foundation, Tower Hamlets' food bank. Canary Wharf is a pocket of wealth within Tower Hamlets, but very sadly child poverty is higher in Tower Hamlets than any local authority in the UK; 53% of children are living in poverty and a quarter of children in Tower Hamlets receive free school meals.

With this in mind we would like to contribute to the Love Summer initiative which aims to support local families during the summer months in the absence of free school meals.

The money raised will be split between purchasing food items and toiletry gift sets and Back to School kits. Please send all donations before the 6th August. Many thanks :)
