In association with The MumMum Foundation, in 2017 Pendle Powerfest will be raising money to buy toys and creative supplies for children in hospital across Northern England.
Pendle Powerfest is an annual family motorshow held in Lancashire on the last Sunday in May.

​Being in hospital can be terrifying as an adult, but as a child it is even worse.
Hospitals are desperately underfunded for toys, arts and crafts and just generally things for children to do.
If we can brighten a child's day just a little then we will all go home happy.

Entertainment Manager Lee suggested this idea to the team based on something his late sister had started in her local area.
She raised money or used her own and delivered gifts and Easter eggs to children in her local hospital.
Sadly she was taken by cancer early this year.
Lee thought what better way to continue his sister's legacy than take her idea and build on what she started.

Because we are a family show, the team decided that rather than just raising money for good causes we should launch a totally new idea and put it into practice ourselves.

From now until Summer 2017, all of our efforts will be raise money for this cause.
Of course we will also accept any direct donations of new toys as well.

We hope to build relationships with potential suppliers of the toys to maximise our achievements.

We are keen to talk to any toy shops and manufacturers who might be able to help supply, sponsor or offer any other assistance.

We hope to implement the plan in Summer 2017 after our show in May. This could involve a number of exciting vehicles delivering the toys to the hospitals with the opportunity for some children to come out an experience some of them close up.

The number of hospitals we will support will depend on funds/relationships made but we hope to support as many as possible.

The range of items needed are to entertain the children aged from Newborn to Sixteen years old.
