I've raised £1500 to undertake volunteer work with Camps International to support rhino conservation and school building project work in Uganda.

Uganda is a country that has been battling poverty for a long time and has done much work in aiming to reduce it, whilst also protecting their environment and wildlife - but there is still a long way to go. They need our support!
The aim of this trip in 2019 is to volunteer to help with project work in Uganda; support the local community; help build new school facilities and learn more about the northern white rhinos. These poor creatures are in serious danger of extinction; being hunted for their horns.
I'm a young enthusiastic student wanting incredible life experience with more of an impact than your typical gap year. This amazing 4 week expedition will help me become less sheltered to how other people live and thrive in such difficult circumstances. To show my passion and enthusiasm I have taken part in the London Triatholon Series on 4th August 2018, with my amazing sister-in-law Lana!
The money will go towards paying for resources for the project work. Whilst also covering the fees it will take to send me there as a volunteer; to help turn these resources into something that will benefit the wider community.
