We the Hayling Island Donkeys have acquired some more grazing land and are going to make this beautiful peaceful place home for rescued, unwanted and retired working donkeys, providing them a safe forever home.
We desperately need your help as donkeys are not waterproof they need to have access to shelter 24/7 our goal is to install a new shelter on the land to enable us to take in more donkeys and become a local sanctuary where the public can come and visit.
So far we have created safe new fencing, an access road and are developing a hard standing the next step is a new shelter given that our self funding efforts only go so far we would welcome any support you can give either financially or even your time.
Our younger donkeys of the herd continue to give children rides at venues around the south to help towards the cause.
