Story

Compton FC, known as the ‘Green Army,’ is 100 years old this year. Unfortunatley they have fallen on hard times and need desperate help to get them to the end of the season, and, hopefully beyond. The club has had sponsers who have kindly helped with kit, balls and equipment etc. But, other expenses like electric, water, pitch upkeep has been great. One club executive has put his hands in his own pocket to keep them afloat, but, they need more help.

Multiple generations have played for this football club. Not only from the village of Compton, but the surrounding villages and towns. Theo Walcott played for this team in his youth, his starting point in a successful career. His dad was the manager too!.

So, as you see, this little village club has a lot of history. It would be a terrible shame if it had to fold. Please! Please! Any size of donation would be very gratefully recieved.

This is grassroot football that the big guys sadly seem to forget about.

THANK YOU!!!!
