I am a carer for a 3 year old boy who was born with an absent corpus collosum and has a rare form of epilepsy, and episodes of dystonia which are very painful for him and haviving a bath helps relax him during his dytonic episodes. He was origionally diagnosed with West syndrome but has recently been diagnosed with Proud syndrome. He will be totally dependant on others all his life and so his family need to adapt their home for his special needs. We were recently told that we could no longer carry him upstairs so the family are going to need to adapt their home. I am hoping to raise money towards a specialised bath that he will need to help make his life a little easier.
