Older adults living with dementia thrive from inter-acting with the younger generation. We have been visiting our local care home with amazing improvements to their mental, physical and emotional well being over the last 2years but due to lack of funding I will be losing my role at Sanford Primary School next month. This will have a massive impact on the residents we visit on a regular basis. The children will have a void in their regular happy routine of interacting with their friends at Sandford Station. Life at Sandford Station and Y1 at Sandford School will never be the same if this project can’t continue for the well being of all involved. We want to run this project for the next 3yrs so we can make a positive and lasting impact on all involved.
