Story

4 1/2 years of waiting on a ground floor flat as an amputee and after a long struggle I finally got one..
My original fundraising page was set to £2000 to help raise money for moving costs and towards and electric wheelchair as I'm not supposed to self propel in my manual wheelchair and my husbands not allowed to push me also for medical reasons. I know that wouldn't have covered both as cheapest moving quote was over £1100 but I was only looking for help towards it, not to be fully covered.
I only raised £35 which was no where near enough but thankfully AK vehicle hire, Paisley came to the rescue and provided free hire of a van to help.
Friends and family helped to move some of my things but they didn't manage to get one of my sofas out of the flat and in the process the other sofa and my tumble dryer got damaged.
So I'm now trying to fundraise to help replace those as well as fundraise towards the wheelchair.
May as well make use of that nice solid ramp I now have outside my nice ground floor flat. I do have use of a scooter at the moment but it's not ideal for using inside the house......
Any help is appreciated x
