Jim is a neighbour of mine. He is wheelchair bound and suffers from spina bifida.

His wheelchair is old and heavy. It is very difficult for him to manoeuvre.

He is always cheerful and everyone goes to him for advice and friendship.

I have never heard him complain although he is in constant pain.

He recently went wiith a friend to a disability show. He tried out a lightweight wheelchair and came home telling everyone how amaxingly light and easy to manoeuvre it was.

He said it was the wheelchair of his dreams.
He assumes it will remain just a dream and the possibility that he could have such a wheelchair has not even occurred to him.

I would like to make this dream a reality for this gentle, unassuming man. He has no idea that I am trying to do this.

The wheelchair costs £7000.

Please help if you can.
