£1,570raised of £1,500 target by 25 supporters

Weʼve raised £1,570 to Raise awareness and provide support and assistance to those affected by suicide.

    Downpatrick, UK
Funded on Monday, 31st December 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

"Everyone can make a contribution to saving lives from suicide: raising awareness, being trained in suicide first- aid, helping those who have survived a suicide attempt or helping a family who is suffering the loss of a loved one to suicide. We aim to bring those contributions together coherently". - Suicide Down to Zero

This year, Trackars Healthcare have chosen Downpatrick based group, Suicide Down to Zero as our charity of the year. Working in the Healthcare sector, we see people on a daily basis who are suffering from depression, mental illness and struggling to cope. In our fundraising attempts this year, we hope to raise enough money to bring training and awareness to communities across Northern Ireland and provide support to those who need it.

We will be holding an array of fundraising activities throughout the year and would like as much support as possible to reach our target. We hope that you join us on our journey and have some fun along the way.

Niamh and Tracey were absolutely delighted to hand over a cheque this afternoon to Pat and David from Suicide Down to Zero for £9573.94. We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated money and prizes, ran marathons, attended our gala ball, breakfast mornings, coffee mornings and pub nights! We know the funds rasied will go a long way to help raise awareness, run programs, training and first aid, as well as providing much needed support and direction to those contemplating or dealing with the effects of suicide.

Sorry we couldn't make it to the ball. Here's some money we would only have squandered in the bar. Great cause; great effort from you all.
