Weʼve raised £1,650 to Support 3 Charities which are very close to my heart SensationALL Charlie House The Livingwell Cafe

    Story

I have undertaken to complete the 175 mile Ride the North challenge this year in support of 3 charities.

I am involved with all three charities in different ways.
I have been involved with SensationAll since my business started in 2015 in a voluntary capacity and providing bookkeeping services and support with their accounts.
My involvement with Charlie House is much more recent further to meeting one of the board members and one of the front line team members of Charlie House who really inspired me to be part of it.
Both charities have given me the chance to fulfill my New Years resolution of 2014 to carry out some voluntary work and support local charities.
The Livingwell Cafe has much more close to home links following a member of my family being diagnosed with Alzhiemers last year.
The cafe is a local facility which provides a place to go and enjoy a friendly, non-judgemental environment whilst enjoying activities such as boccia, singing, tai chi or just to have a cup of tea and a chat. The cafes are set up for people with dementia/memory loss and run every Tuesday afternoon alternately at Oldmachar & Newhills Church and more recently at Ferryhill Church.

As the Livingwell cafe doesn't have a just giving page, I have chosen to crowd fund so that I can equally split all that is raised between my chosen charities.

For those of you who can, please dig deep and for those of you who can't any small donation would be greatly received even if it is an hour or 2 of your time to volunteer with one of these worthwhile local charities.

    Thank you
