Story

Next August I will be helping to build a much-needed library for children in Palmeira village, Manhica District, Mozambique. There is no library in the entire district, which means that 1,500 school children lack vital resources – books and learning materials to aid their studies. Children must travel over 100km to the nearest overcrowded library in Maputo to source books, which is expensive for parents to pay for the travel and time-consuming for the students when they should be focussing on their studies. Our children are lucky to have access to such a rich supply of literature and reference books and I want to give these children the same opportunities. www.actionaid.org.uk/mozambiquetriphttp://www.actionaid.org.uk/mozambiquetrip Your generous support will help me to fund my trip and will be split 50/50 between the trip costs and ActionAid.
