Every one who knows me, knows i’ve never been a long distance runner. However this September, i will be running the Richmond half marathon, to help raise money for my niece Jess, who is going on a self funded school trip with World Challenge, to Costa Rica. Whilst there, she will help rehabilitate endangered turtles on the pacific coast, work in echo gardens to protect the precious environment, help in schools and plant trees, all with the aim of making Costa Rica the worlds first carbon neutral country. She is required to raise £3200 and is 100% committed towards raising the funds and in fact, is over half way there. Both Jess and i are very grateful for any donation however big or small.
