Baby Iyla sadly only spent 6 months here on earth with her parents. Iyla’s parents have been through a tremendously emotional and sad time. Now that Iyla has passed, life is supposed to carry on as normal. Unfortunately this includes carrying on with work. Iyla’s Dad was only given one week, with pay, after her death and then needed to return to his job. He is trying to carry on, but this is a real struggle whilst dealing with the emotions and heartbreak of losing a child. They obviously have bills and rent to pay, so taking time out isn’t an option.

I would like to raise some money as a ‘buffer’ for them, should they wish to take a break and mourn their loss without adding financial worries.

Any money raised which they don’t use will be donated to the high dependancy paediatric unit at Hull Royal Infirmary.
