Only happy memories should shine through your childhood. The Guardian Angel Foundation in Gibraltar was set up with that one vision- to ensure every child has the chance to smile. Whether they are affected by genuine financial distress, suffering from illness or disability or that of a family member. The Board ensures that every single penny is directed to the children. They provide their time, advice and expertise without charge- guardian angels indeed.

When I climbed Kilimanjaro in 2017, I didn't know whether I was walking away or walking towards something in my life. I set off to achieve the goal and find my direction at a very difficult time in my life. But I didn't find my answer. I was lucky enough to find something even greater- amazing new friendships, memories of laughter, comradeship and trust. Moreover I learnt that taking hold of life with both hands and actually living it in the present was my reason for being there. Giving, loving and appreciating every hour of every day. So the new challenge for September 2019 is to take me on a journey to help children smile, to create memories of happiness for them. Each step, however hard, I will count my blessings that I, and now my daughters, have memories of happiness. The Guardian Angel Foundation's sole purpose.

Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Western Europe awaits.. a tough challenge, encompassing alpine training with icy peaks and ridges. A challenge beyond my imagination, but its on! I'm raising money for the Guardian Angel Foundation so please give generously to make this expedition a true success.
