    Story

On two occasions in May 2018, I developed (very frightening) breathing difficulties. Both times, I was admitted to Newcastle's RVI where I was privileged to receive amazing (potentially life-saving) treatment and care. The Doctors, Nurses and all the other RVI staff were truly fantastic during my stay and were truly professional throughout. This professionalism extended above and beyond when I witnessed various patients shouting, swearing and otherwise abusing the A & E staff!! I would love to thank these wonderful people for their patience, tolerance and dedication in their work. On 9th September, myself and my daughter Nadia will be taking part in the Great North run. Please sponsor us so that we can give a little bit back to Newcastle's phenomenal A & E Department. Thank you so much xxx
