I've raised £1000 to Help raise money for Marie Curie and COPD Research

My daughter Leanne is having a quiz night and raffle in The Terrace Hotel on Friday 24th May to raise funds for COPD research and Marie Curie.
COPD is a progressive and (currently) incurable disease which is becoming more and more common. It's the second most common lung disease after asthma.
Marie Curie nurses not only deal with cancer patients, whether it's dementia, cancer, motor nurone disease or any other illnesses. They are there to help families cope after a terminal diagnosis
This is why this fundraiser is so close to our hearts. The Marie Curie nurses helped our family in our time of need, doing night sits so we could have a proper nights rest. We also wanted to help other people with COPD, however, there is no direct COPD charity. Therefore, we have decided to also donate to the COPD Research Team in Queen's University, Belfast.
All the money that is raised through this and the fundraiser night will be split between both organisations. We urge you to donate what you can ..all and anything that is raised will be greatly appreciated by our family.
