Weʼve raised £0 to Fund a Trishaw bicycle to provide a cycling experience in the fresh air for residents living in a care home both with and without dementia.

Story
We want to raise money to buy a Trishaw so residents living in our care home can enjoy supported bicycle rides in the fresh air.
Our residents have all served in the armed forces with the youngest being 76 through to the eldest being 100.
We are situated in 12 acres of grounds which are lovely, residents would be able to access these grounds by one of us cycling them round on the Trishaw.
We are 10 minutes away from the coast and 15 minutes from the town both of which we would access on the Trishaw.
Our residents have given a lot to our country and in this Thank You year we would like to show our appreciation by helping them to access this wonderful experience. More information on Trishaws can be found on the cycling without age website
All funds received will be going directly to the purchase of the Trishaw

I am the Registered Manager of Maurice House. This is a Royal British Legion care home for residents that have served in the armed forces. As part of this project I am doing a sponsored slim from 1st May to 1st December and am aiming to lose 4 stone.
