raised of £7,500 target by 201 supporters

Weʼve raised £7,302 to save the club so it will still be here next season as like many non-league clubs, Trafford FC is struggling to survive.

    Pennybridge Lane, Urmston
Funded on Wednesday, 26th August 2020

Don't have time to donate right now?

Yes it really is that serious. The Coronavirus has caused massive issues for Non-league and community football clubs. Income has dropped to zero yet bills must still be paid. The government’s business loan schemes are simply not designed for non-league football clubs, and handouts from the FA don't filter down as far as the Northern Premier League. Trafford FC was formed in 1990 and has a proud 30-year history, but 2020 could easily be the year of its demise…

The Club and its Supporters Organisation have been working together since the season was abandoned on 26th March to raise money during these dark times. We’ve run some “Virtual Match Days” that have raised about £1,000 but it’s vital that we raise more. We want to reach out to our local community, businesses and the greater football family for help and assistance. Anything you can spare will all go into the pot to keep our wonderful, local, friendly, family club going. Thank you!

We are truly blown away by the fact we have raised over £7000 which will go along way in helping us prepare for the future - and it's all thanks to our fantastic and kind supporters and friends! As well as this, we have received one or two donations directly to the club - the Moss family who have so very generously donated £350 and Diane and Ian Murden who have kindly donated £100 - thank you so very much! We can't wait to see all our friends at Shawe View in the near future!

It's also fantastic to see how far people have reached out from - gaining donations from a Manchester United fan from Norway for example is amazing, and all those fans of other football clubs that have helped - we are very grateful. And everyone else: supporters, people from the local community or further a field - we are just so overwhelmed! Our words won't do justice just what it means to us. Thank you!

Great community activity. Our grandson started with you at Flixton Primary and would be devastated if he can't continue. Best wishes for the future of the club
